Ponoka RCMP officer promoted, moves on to new post

The Ponoka RCMP would like to congratulate Jeff Sehn on his promotion from corporal to sergeant.

Sehn arrived at the Ponoka detachment in 2011 when he was part of the integrated traffic unit.

In 2015, he was promoted to corporal on general duty at the detachment. This month, Sehn assumes command as the detachment commander in Redwater, Alberta.

Sehn will be missed in Ponoka but he has already committed to coming back to help out next summer in 2021 for our Stampede. All the best at your new posting Sgt. Sehn.
