Ponoka RCMP advised on the late evening of July 1 that they were on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 2, north of the 2A entrance/exit to Ponoka.

This was affecting both north and southbound traffic. Traffic was being re-directed at 2A.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. An update will be sent when the collision scene is clear.
