The Ponoka Splash Park is scheduled to open for the season on Thursday, June 1.
Located at Lions Centennial Park on Highway 2A, the Splash Park is maintained by the Town of Ponoka for children and their families to enjoy during the warmer months.
The park will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“The Ponoka Splash Park is an outdoor facility for all ages that promotes fun and active water play and continues to be a popular destination each summer,” stated a press release.
Town of Ponoka washroom facilities will also reopen on June 1 at Lions Centennial Park for guests to use. The washrooms will be cleaned daily.
