All those years of volunteering at the Ponoka Stampede have paid off big; $73,712 big to be exact.
Darlene Heidt is a veteran volunteer for Ponoka Stampede, 15-plus years actually and she was ecstatic to win the Ponoka Stampede Showdown Mega Cash Raffle, a new two-week accumulative 50/50 that was up for grabs this year.
“Please join us in congratulating Darlene, whose dedication to the Ponoka Stampede is an inspiration to us all. She has worked the will call ticket office and we couldn’t be happier for Darlene,” noted a release.
