RCMP investigate attempted theft of equipment

Ponoka RCMP look into attempted theft of equipment and truck theft.

On Feb. 3 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to CERVUS Equipment.

An unknown suspect, driving a blue Dodge pickup, tried to hook on to some equipment in the yard but was unsuccessful in pulling the equipment out as the vehicle was too small to move the equipment.

File is currently under investigation.

Vehicle theft

On Feb. 5 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a complaint of a theft of vehicle from a farm yard on Range Road 274.

Unknown suspects absconded with a company vehicle, which is described as a 2007 GMC Sierra grey in color. There are two logos on the door that say Parkland Fertilizer.
