One man is in serious condition after a stabbing incident in Red Deer on Jan. 22.
Police say the stabbing occurred just before midnight in the Riverside Meadows neighbourhood at about 11:55 p.m. The call came in that a 34-year-old man from Red Deer was stabbed at a residence after an altercation with two men and one woman.
The victim was stabbed in the torso several times, say police, but is said to be in stable condition in hospital.
RCMP do not believe this was a random attack and are working to confirm the identities of the suspects. Updates will be issued as more information becomes available.
