Registration opens Tuesday, June 6 at 10 a.m. at the Ponoka Aquaplex for summer swimming lessons and advanced programming, such as Advanced Lifesaving, Babysitting and Stay Safe courses.
Citizens can register online on the Town of Ponoka’s website at www.ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex or in person at the Ponoka Aquaplex.
Summer swimming lessons and advanced programming will begin in early July and end in late August.
A full list of available swimming lessons and advanced programming can be found on the town’s website at www.ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex.
Paper copies are also available at the Aquaplex.
All swimming lessons and advanced programming at the Ponoka Aquaplex are delivered through the Swim for Life program through the Lifesaving Society.
To determine your child’s swim level in the Swim for Life program, parents and guardians are encouraged to review the transition chart at www.lifesaving.org.
Paper copies of the transition chart are also available at the Ponoka Aquaplex.
If you’re still unsure of your child’s skill level, the Ponoka Aquaplex offers free swim assessments during public swims.
