Early registration for fall swimming lessons and advanced programming opens on Aug. 21 at the Ponoka Community Market (5110 – 48 Ave.) during the mass registration event from 3 to 7 p.m.
Aquaplex staff will be on-site next to the Town’s Coffee with Council booth. Staff will be available to accept swimming lessons registrations and to answer questions about fall programming at the Aquaplex.
During this time, residents can also register for advanced programming, such as Rookie, Ranger, Star Patrol, Babysitting, and Stay Safe courses.
Fall programming registration opens online (www.ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex) and in person at the Ponoka Aquaplex (5315 – 46 Ave). on Aug. 22 starting at 10 a.m.

Paper copies of that list are also available at the Aquaplex. Fall swimming lessons and advanced programming will begin in mid-October.
All swimming lessons and advanced programming at the Aquaplex are delivered through the Swim for Life program through the Lifesaving Society.
To determine your child’s swim level in the Swim for Life program, parents and guardians are encouraged to review the transition chart at www.ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex.
