UCP and NDP have candidates in all 87 ridings

Polls have officially closed in the 2023 provincial election in Alberta.

The highly competitive four-week campaign has Rachel Notley and the NDP party against Danielle Smith, incumbent and leader of the UCP.

Both parties have candidates in all 87 Alberta ridings.

Results are set to trick in after 8 p.m., with closer races possibly not being confirmed until Tuesday morning.
