Investigators say the minivan was stolen from the Rimbey Best Western hotel on April 23.

Police say the suspect arrived at the Best Western on bicycle at 6 a.m. where he allegedly stole an employee's purse.

The suspect then used keys found in the purse to steal a grey Dodge Caravan from the hotel parking lot.

The van has since been recovered.

Surveillance cameras at the nearby CanAlta hotel captured the image of a man matching the suspect description.
