As of 1 p.m. on Aug. 12, a semi-trailer remains in the ditch on Highway 2A right before the Morningside exit as the towing company awaits a larger towing vehicle and traffic controllers.
The A-1 Towing driver on the scene believed the semi truck was travelling northbound on 2A when the driver lost control and went into the ditch at around 4 a.m.
Both lanes of traffic are currently open although that could change as crews arrive to remove the trailer.
