Several options to enjoy a pancake breakfast during Stampede Week

Sink your teeth into a stack of fluffy flap jacks and all the fixings at the pancake breakfast at the Ponoka Legion June 27, 28 and 29.

Children aged four to nine eat for $1 per year and under three are free. Over nine are $10 each.

The Legion has a Stampede menu all week, with a soup and sandwich lunch June 28 to July 3, and buffet-style dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on July 2.

Live entertainment will feature Hot Spur on June 29 and 30 from 8 to 11 p.m. and Billy Joseph from 4 to 7 p.m. July 1 and 2.

Don’t forget to stop by the Farmers Market at the Legion from June 27 to 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Ponoka Stampede is hosting a community breakfast on Saturday, July 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Moose Hall. Bring your own lawn chair. Adults are $10 and children are $5.

There will also be a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, as part of the Ponoka Stampede’s Cowboy Church service, to be held in front of the main grandstand.
