Country singer Shane Yellowbird is now set for trial in Ponoka provincial court, following many postponements in proceedings.

Country singer Shane Yellowbird is now set for trial in Ponoka provincial court, following many postponements in proceedings. The trial will commence Tuesday, Sept. 8 2015.

With multiple civilian and official witnesses involved, the trial is scheduled for five hours, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Yellowbird faces three counts of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, three counts of refusing/failing to provide a breath sample, three counts of failing to stop and three counts of driving a motor vehicle while unauthorized.
