There will be temporary road closures in Ponoka on Friday, Nov. 17, to accommodate the Ponoka Santa Claus Parade.
The road closures will be on 54 Street, 46 Avenue, 50 Street, 51 Avenue, 51 Street and 48 Avenue from about 5 p.m. to about 6:45 p.m.
Motorists are urged to please drive with caution and observe ‘No Parking’ signs and barricades.
The parade will wind through downtown Ponoka along the following route beginning at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street):
- Along 54 Street;
- East on 46 Avenue;
- North on 50 Street;
- West on 51 Avenue;
- South on 51 Street;
- West on 48 Avenue; and
- South on 54 Street back to the Arena.
