Ponoka RCMP are searching for suspects in a recent break and enter.

Sometime on the morning of June 7, police received a call to First Choice Auto and Truck Repair on the corner of the 67 Street and 46 Avenue.

By the time officers arrived, the suspects had already fled.

Police were informed by a witness that a Black Ford Explorer was parked northbound, on the west side of 67 Street, alongside the fence for the business’ compound. Inside the vehicle was a Caucasian woman with red hair, and something covering her face, in the driver’s seat while a male was in the rear seats behind the driver, crouched on the floor.

Another male was inside the fenced compound, described as about six feet tall with a blue sweater, jeans and a red bandana over his face.

The owner of the business did confront the driver of the vehicle, who honked the horn and then the vehicle left.

Police are continuing their investigation and it isn’t known if anything was taken or damaged.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is requested to call the Ponoka RCMP at (403) 783-4472 or, if people wish to remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go online to www.tipsubmit.com.
