My name is Carla Prediger and I am seeking another term as a councillor for the Town of Ponoka.
I am currently the director for Addiction and Mental Health West Central Zone and I’ve lived in Ponoka for 33 years.
I feel I have a passion for the community and like to present options from a lens that may be different from others. I often offer creative opinions and perspectives on the decision making of council.
I’m proud of our community and its citizens and that’s what first motivated me to run for town council. I appreciate the work that administration and council has initiated and completed in the past four years and would like to continue with that work.
Some of the main issues that should be priorities for council in the next term include providing meaningful opportunities for all residents such as activities and recreation, continuing to provide good value on services for citizens’ tax dollar, and policing and safety for all.
