The Town of Ponoka advises that with the recent snowfall, town snow and ice crews are at work sanding and salting roadways throughout the community today.

They are also clearing snow from drifted roadways where needed, and clearing sidewalks next to town-owned properties, and on walking trails.

To report an icy intersection, back alley or sidewalk, submit an online request at www.ponoka.ca.

The town also reminds residents to clear sidewalks that border their properties, and to please shovel snow onto their own property rather than on roadway’s or onto a neighbour’s property.
