Around 8 a.m. on April 12, officers from the Maskwacis RCMP were called to Herman-Minde Road just east of Hwy. 2A and found an unresponsive man lying on the road.

Officers quickly determined the man was deceased and that the circumstance appeared suspicious. Members of the RCMP major crimes unit and the forensic indentification unit were called to the scene.
