Hello everyone it has been a very busy spring with 4-H here is the news for the last few months. Our meeting Feb. 4 we all gave our speech titles. We had Wes McDowell as our guest speaker he let us know how important public speaking is for jobs and careers later on down the road. Thank you to Wes for all the insight.

Thanks to all the parents, family, judges timers and mistress of ceremonies on Feb. 18 at our Club Public Speaking day. Congratulations to everyone for the great speeches, and everyone who moved on to Zones and District competition.
On March 17, our club went to a place called Loaves and Fishes in Red Deer. This place feeds the less fortunate, the people were nice and seem to be hard working people, which may surprise many of us. I would like to thank all the 4-H members and their parents who attended this wonderful enlightenment. Many of the members who I talked to during and after this special evening enjoyed and said they would do it again. Thanks again to everyone who attended.
We had our Mini Show this past weekend at the Matejka Ranch. Thanks to the Matejka’s for having this very busy day at your place. All the calves are looking great and even looked better after meeting the clippers for the first time. Which some calves took this experience better than others. Everyone was worked hard to make their calves look wonderful. Great job everyone keep up the great work.
Upcoming events to look forward to are April 5 Multi Species Judging to be held at Vold Jones Vold Auction and District fun day going to West Edmonton Mall April 12.
