Wolf Creek Public Schools candidates for Ward C

School board elections are being held on Oct. 18, 2021, along with the municipal election.

In Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS), all wards were acclaimed except by Ward C.

Ward C consists of ward electoral boundaries four and five in Ponoka County and electoral divisions six and seven in Lacombe County, as well as the Town of Rimbey, Summer Village of Birchcliff, Summer Village of Sunbreaker Cove, Summer Village of Half Moon Bay, Town of Eckville, and the Town of Bentley.

Running for Ward C are candidates Trudy Bratland and Alexis Soltice.

Bratland has experience as a paralegal at a large law firm and she lives in Rimbey with her family. She has been the coordinator for the Rimbey ECS and part time assistant librarian for the Town of Rimbey.

Soltice is the director in the Parkland and Area Dressage Association, and assistant district commissioner of Red Deer Pony Club. Their lives in the Forshee district north of Bentley.
