Wolf Creek Public Schools issued the following statement via email and its website around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13:
Dear Wolf Creek Public Schools Families,
Following the recommendations from Alberta’s Medical Officer of Health, announced Friday, March 13, 2020, all schools and facilities in Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) will remain open for regular instruction and operation until further notice.
Please know that the safety of our students, staff and families is of utmost importance, and we are closely following the recommendations of Alberta’s Medical Officer of Health in regards to guarding against the spread of COVID-19.

We know Alberta’s Medical Officer of Health will be sharing additional information with school divisions on Saturday, March 14, 2020, including a safe schools checklist regarding COVID-19.
We will share that additional information with parents and staff following those discussions with Alberta’s Medical Officer of Health, and Alberta Health.
