Al Croft

June 13, 1952 - August 28, 2019
Al Croft passed away suddenly on August 28, 2019 at the age of 67 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his "girls" Gillian (Kayle) Bowie, Justine Croft, and Chelsey Croft; his grandchildren Jace, Lily, and Shae Bowie; his mother Anne Mackay; his siblings Linda (Bob) Barrett, George (Lynn) Croft, Rose (Ken) Flinkman, Darlene Croft, Sherrill Fix, Rhonda (Murray) Hickman; as well as many nieces and nephews. Al had a bit of a tough exterior, but a very soft heart that guided him in his psychiatric nursing practice for over 30 years. Those who knew Al, understood that underneath his leather jacket, aviators, and sharp wit there was a man that cared deeply for his many friends and family. He will be forever missed, and forever remembered by those who loved him. In Al's words "always fight for what you believe in, just make sure you're right." A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 4 at 1 pm at the Moose Hall in Ponoka, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to The Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
