NEWNHAM – Alice May (nee Sweet)
May 1, 1935 – March 9, 2011
Alice Newnham beloved wife of Jim Newnham of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the age of 75 years.
Alice was born at Morningside, AB went to school at Pleasant Hill and Ponoka, and she married James Oliver (Jim) on July 31, 1954. Besides her loving husband, Alice is survived by two children, John (Diane) and Mary Lee (Michael Bosnell), and two grandchildren, Lindsay and Reed; two brothers, Roy (Ivy) Whitfield and Ross (Jean) Sweet. She was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Anna Sweet; two sisters, Lilly and Hazel and four brothers, Cliff, Leo, Max and Glen. Alice was taken from us much too soon by Creutzfeldt – Jakob Disease.
