Alice Reese
Alice Leora Reese was born on October 18, 1919 in Ponoka and passed away at the Northcott Care Centre on September 26, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Alice married Ogwen Reese on August 12, 1947. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Daniel (Luella) Reese of Kelowna, British Columbia and their family: Clint and Heidi Reese and their children Caden, Carter and Madelyn; Jenica and Mike Perschon and their children Gunnar and Dacy; and Taylor and Danielle Reese and their children Arlan and Myer; her daughter Sheryl (Doug) Cale of Rocky Mountain House and their family: Trevor and Marion Cale; and Celyn and Brian Magnus and their child Macsen; her sister Evelyn Abbott; sister-in-law Arlene Dewhirst; brother-in-law Gwernydd Reese; as well as many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ogwen, parents Wallace and Myrtle Dewhirst, siblings Harold and Herbert Dewhirst, Verna Miller and Helen Spelrem, sister-in-law Margaret Dewhirst, and brothers-in-law Murray Abbott, Willard Nystrom, Larry Miller, and Alvin Spelrem. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013.
