Allen Dickau was born on June 26, 1922 in Ponoka to Fred and Louise Dickau and passed away on December 19, 2012 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 90 years. Allen is survived by his twin brother Arthur; nieces and nephews Ken (Joy) Dickau, Holly (Jim) Mayfield, Mike Dickau, Nancy (Ernie) Dickau-Riley and Esther (Wayne) Plester and their families; as well as many other relatives and friends. Allen was predeceased by his parents and brothers Howard and Gordon. Friends wishing to see Allen may do so on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Ponoka at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Rising Sun Clubhouse.
