Amanda Minni (Hauff)
On December 6, 2008 Amanda Minni (Hauff) passed away in Ponoka at the age of 88 years. She was born a twin in a family of nine on November 23, 1920 in Cliftonville, Saskatchewan. She married Carl Minni from Brightview, Alberta on April 23, 1951. She is survived by her five children: Maren MacNeill of Ponoka, Sherman Minni of Valleyview, Byron (Debbie) Minni and Brent (Susan) Minni of Crooked Creek and Wyman (Edna) Minni of Caroline; her grandchildren Tyler (Christine) MacNeill, Scott MacNeill, Jade Minni (Reed), Cam Minni (Joan), Katherine Cissell (Monty), Stephen Minni (Jenn), Roselyn Blackmore (Matt), Christopher, Kohl and Lance Minni, Colley and Wes, Corey and their children Dillon, Wyatt and Libby; and her great-grandchildren Tabor, Chase, Taryn and Kianna Cissell, Travis MacNeill and Benjamin Blackmore. She was predeceased by her husband Carl, parents, twin sister Meletta Ratzlaff and son-in-law Ron MacNeill. A Memorial Service was held at the Baptist Church in Valleyview, Alberta at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2008. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alberta Diabetes Association or any charity of your choice.
