MCNAIR, BARBARA A.
March 7, 1937 - May 20, 2011
Barbara A. McNair passed away peacefully at the Claresholm General Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Barbara was born in Edmonton, Alberta, moving to Calgary as a young girl, and having lived the last 45 years in Claresholm, Alberta.
Barbara is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Gerry McNair, her sister Doreen Scott of Ponoka, her sons Jack (Leianne) of Calgary and Gerald (Glenda) of Claresholm. She was Grandma Barb to her 6 grandchildren, Aspen, Amanda, Zachary, Jack Michael, Ryan and Greg and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler and Kaitlyn.
She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home in Claresholm on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Murray Speer officiating.
