HERRMANN, Dilys (nee Jones)
90 years. Good years. Full years. Those were the years of Dilys Herrmann.
Born in Wainwright, AB on September 29, 1921, Dilys went home to the Lord January 23, 2012.
She is lovingly remembered by her surviving children: Karen Wing and Linda; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends.
Dilys was predeceased by her husband Helmuth and her daughter Lorna Obst.
Visitation will be held Thursday February 2, 2012, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street, Edmonton. The funeral service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 35km east of Ponoka on Highway 53. Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter’s Cemetery Fund, RR1, Tees, AB T0C 2N0.
Dilys’ family gives grateful thanks to the wonderful staff at the Gerald Zetter Care Centre and the Rimoka Lodge for their care and compassion for Dilys over the years.
