It is with heavy hearts that we are sad to announce the sudden passing of Donald Bidyk.
Donald was born July 17, 1949 to Anne and Joseph Bidyk. He was the oldest of nine children. Donald grew up in Ponoka, graduated High School and took his Psychiatric Nursing at AHP. After graduating from Nursing School he went on to work for Mental Health Services throughout Central Alberta until his retirement.
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his children Ryan Bidyk, Travis Bidyk and Nicole (Erich) Jonas, granchildren (Natalie and Carter). His mother Anne Bidyk, siblings Marlene (Sev) Gartner, Allan (Cathie) Bidyk, Brenda Hulsman (Barry), Linda Bidyk, Elaine Bidyk, Bev Bidyk, Gail Bidyk (Ken) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Donald was predeceased by the love of his life, wife Doreen, Barb and Don Carter, mother and father-in-law, father Joseph Bidyk, brother Kenneth Bidyk and brother-in laws, Ernie Hrycyk, Jim Lewis, Warren Harrick and nephew Danny Harrick.
Donald was a man of many hobbies which included Ford Central Car Club, Super Run, Train Club, gardening, riding his bike, hunting, Saturday morning coffee at the local A&W and hanging around with his younger brother Allan. He will be especially missed by his grandchildren Natalie and Carter as they were the joy of his life.
At his request there will be no service.
