Doris Marie Paul
1931 - 2012
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Doris Marie Paul announces her passing on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
Doris was born on January 25, 1931 in Ponoka, Alberta. She met her husband in Ponoka and they settled in Marysville in 1966 and enjoyed camping and fishing together. Doris liked doing puzzles and enjoyed reading. She loved animals and almost always had a pet. Spending time with her 2 granddaughters was a favoured pass-time.
Doris is survived by her son Kenneth (Dawn), her 2 grandchildren Aislinn and Chelsea and her brother Harold. She was predeceased by her husband Myrl, her sister Gloria and her brother Mel.
A small graveside service for Doris will be held at the Marysville Cemetery on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Doris may do so to the SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
