BRAITHWAITE E. Christine
C h r i s t i n e was born on August 2 9 t h , 1944, at
Barnard Castle in England. She passed over peacefully,
surrounded by her family at home on December 25th,
2011 at Grand Forks B.C. at the age of 67.
She was predeceased by her father, John Henry
Alderson; her mother Mary Hilda Alderson and Granddaughter Jillian Braithwaite.
She is lovingly survived by her husband Bob Braithwaite of Grand Forks B.C.; adopted son Gavin Day of Weyburn, Sask.; her stepson Lon (Colleen) Braithwaite and granddaughter Chloe of Innisfail, A.B., stepdaughter Leigh (Ryan) Feist and grandsons Tyson and Layton, granddaughters, Samantha and Mandy of Dawson Creek,B.C.
She was a long time employee of Wolf Creek Public
Schools as Principal of Home Education Services at Ponoka,
Alberta.
A Dedication Service for Christine Braithwaite will be held
in the Bentley United Church on Saturday, February 11,
2012 at 11:33 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life
Service on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 02:00 PM in
the Blindman Valley Ag Center. A Lunch is to follow. All
friends and former colleagues are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine’s name may be
made to the Grand Forks Public Library, 7342 - 5th Street,
