On February 26, 2009 Mrs. Alice Edey (Gustafson) of Ponoka, formerly of Grande Prairie, passed away at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her children Donald Gustafson (Ozanne) of Edmonton, Larry Gustafson (Lorraine) of Ponoka and Agnes Briere (Richard) of Edmonton; 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her brother Bob Hunter (Ellen) of Parksville, British Columbia and her sister Carol Hunter (Ken) of Stony Plain. She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Murray Norton, her granddaughter Quanah Mercredi and her brothers Don, Leslie and Jim. A Memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th at the Ponoka Funeral Home. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
