It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar, beloved father, grandfather and friend, on February 28, 2012 at the age of 86 years. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his children Doug (Barbara), Ron (Janet), Patsy (Doug Badry) and daughter-in-law Joyce; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his four sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Ethel "Pat" and his son Brent. A Celebration of Ed's life was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Ponoka Funeral Home with the Interment Service following in the Field of Honor at the Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Ponoka Home Care, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Royal Canadian Legion.
