On December 28, 2018 Eileen passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Wetaskiwin Hospital.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Lee Johnson; children, Lorraine (George) Perry, Lucille Albers, Roger (Adele) Albers and Jeff (Myrna) Albers; grandchildren, Robert (Tammy) Perry, Colette (Shawn) Graham, Dennis (Jenyse) Perry, Matthew (Teeshia) Perry, Monique Johnson (Glyn Evans), Kyle (Jill) Neilson, Kent Neilson, Amy (Brad) Verbeek, Ryan (Isa) Albers, Cody (Shaye) Albers, Tyler (Kyria) Albers; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Glenn (Jeanette) Hanson, Gayle (Lloyd) Birney, Roy (Sandra) Hanson, Cheryl (Art) Ammann, Daryl (Crystal) Hanson; brother-in-law, Lindsey Mueller, as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
Eileen was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Albers (1982); parents, Charles and Helen Hanson; sister, Joy Mueller; infant brother, Elwyn Hanson; and brother-in-law, Bernard Johnson.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Eileen's life will be held at a later date.
