Elmer Arthur Prediger was born on July 8, 1940 in Ponoka, Alberta and passed away on July 10, 2009 in Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 69 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Esther; his son Mark and his wife Bonnie and grandsons Tyler (Marina) and Trevor; brothers Ron (Joan) and Bruce (Phyllis); sisters Norma Prediger, Geraldine (Joe) Fillinger and Jeannette (Albert) Stang; sisters-in-law Ellouise and Sharon Prediger; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Ida Prediger, daughter Colleen, and brothers Gordon and Jack. A Funeral Service was held at the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, The Ponoka Trail System, or a charity of your choice.
