Ernest (Eddie) Scarrott
On December 1st, 2010 Ernest (Eddie) Scarrott passed away at the age of 90 years. Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his step-daughter Ann Tilley (Mel Peterson); step-son John (Lynda) Tilley of Kamloops, BC; grandchildren Sharon (Roger) Annis, Scott Tilley and Sheldon Tilley; great-grandchildren Colton, Luke, Todd and Kieffer; and two sisters Joyce and Eva Scarrott of London, England. Eddie and Dorothy moved to Ponoka in July of 1999. Eddie really enjoyed traveling, dancing and bingo. He was predeceased by his wife in 2002 and his parents Ernest and Beatrice Scarrott of London, England. Cremation has taken place and Eddie’s ashes will be interred at a later date in Ponoka. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society or the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre (Long Term Care). The family would like to thank Dr. Halse and the nursing staff at the Ponoka Hospitaland Care Centre and the staff at the Ponoka Funeral Home.
