Errol Craig McMillan 1947 - 2009
Errol was born on July 12, 1947 and passed away on May 24, 2009 surrounded by his family and close friends. Errol was a huge supporter of community services and happily volunteered his time for over thirty years with the Ponoka Stampede Association as well as serving twelve years on Town Council. He was also a member of the Ponoka Piston Poppers and Kinsmen Club. Errol will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cathy; daughters Erin and Allison; sister Holly Schnell (Gary); her family; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. An Interment Service was held on Saturday, May 24, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the Forest Home Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Errol’s life at the Stagecoach Saloon on the Ponoka Stampede Grounds. Donations in memory of Errol are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre Acute Bed Fund.
