Ethel Stretch
On February 14, 2010 Ethel Gertrude (Fetterly) Stretch passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 82 years. Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don Stretch; her daughter Florence “Gail” (Jim) Bunz of Muenster, Saskatchewan and their children Penny (Stuart) Bunz and daughter Lola of Cowles, Australia and Micheal of Muenster, Saskatchewan; her son Wayne (Doreen) Stretch of Calgary and their children Norman (Heather) Stretch and children Justin and Sydney of Langdon, Alberta; and her daughter Heather (Keith) Loucks and their children Jeffrey, Eric and Travis of Leduc, Alberta and Susan (Allan) Kynaston of Mackay, Australia; sisters-in-law Ivy Fetterly of Brandon, Manitoba, Peggie Fetterly of Salmon Arm, B.C. Pat Fetterly of Selkirk, Manitoba and Lillian Linges of Lockport, Manitoba; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Leonard Stretch, her mother Alma and father Gordon Fetterly, her seven brothers: Willard, Earl, Carl, James, Alfred, Raymond and Hilton Fetterly; sister-in-law Ann Fetterly; her father and mother-in-law Jewel and Nellie Stretch, as well as other extended family members Florence Stretch, Harold and Bernice Stretch, Marlene Stretch, Robert (Gary) Stretch, Ivan Lewis and John Zobell. A Service Of Remembrance will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka Hospital Auxiliary.
