Eunice Edwards
On May 8, 2012 Mrs. Eunice Edwards of Ponoka passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 90 years. Eunice was born on August 14, 1921 in Hebburn on Tyne, Great Britain. She married Harris Edwards on February 2, 1948 and they farmed in Delia for 20 years before retiring to Calgary then Kelowna and then to Ponoka in 2000. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gary (Cathy) and daughter Judy (Les); grandchildren Kurt, Troy, Brydon (Lane) and Jarod; great-grandchildren Morgan and Cove; and her brother Billy. She was predeceased by her husband Harris on March 12, 2004 and her son Ken. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be Interred in Kelowna at a later date.
