Florence Lucinda Peavoy (nee Moreland)
On November 6th, 2010 Florence Peavoy passed away peacefully at the age of 90. The Lord has taken one of his angels home.
She is survived by her children Linda (Colin) Trost of Barrhead, Earl (Wendy) Peavoy of Ponoka, Ruth Meyer of Pitt Meadows, BC, and Carol (Gene) Holben of Ponoka; her grandchildren Chad, Jordana, Trina, Valerie, James, Karl, Lucinda and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Primeau of Port Alberni, BC.
Florence was pre-deceased by her parents, Hurshel and May Moreland, her four brothers; Jim, George, Leslie and Ivan, one son, Edward Peavoy and one son-in-law, Robert Meyer.
Florence has asked that no funeral be held but rather there be a small family gathering to remember how she touched all of us with her caring and compassionate ways.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Northcott Care Centre or the Long Term Care at Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre.
