Frances “Monica” Bolton
Monica Bolton was born on September 12, 1925 in Chesterwold, Alberta and passed away on September 5, 2016 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Center at the age of 90 years. Monica will be lovingly remembered by her ten children; Michael Bolton (Sandra), Roger Bolton (Karen Ahola), Mary Bolton (Gary), Lucielle Van Immerzeel (Peter), Ken Bolton, Rose Wilson (Rick), Carol Rau (Jim), Shirley Friis (Dave), Doug Bolton (Lois), and Bruce Bolton (Royal Bourque); her 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her brother George Fink (Corky). Monica as predeceased by her husband Paul, her son Paul, her parents George and Marie Fink, two brothers and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Ponoka with Father Shimit Abraham officiating.
