Frank Lauinger
Frank Morris Lauinger was born November 11, 1921 at Denzel, Saskatchewan and passed away October 20, 2011 at Rimoka Lodge in Ponoka. Frank was born to John and Gertrude Wandler and at the age of 4 years old, was adopted by Lawrence and Johanna Lauinger. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his sons David Frank (Lynn) of Stony Plain and Richard John of Ponoka; his daughter-in-law Linda Lauinger of Red Deer; his grandchildren Kerry (Mike), Matthew (Hayley), Julia and Wayne; five great-grandchildren; and his sister Margaret Zywicki who resides in the United States. Frank was predeceased by his wife Madeline on November 23, 1998; his son Robert on February 16, 1998; and his siblings Anton, Mary, John “Jack”, Alvena, Pauline, Rosie, Albert, Barbara and Kathrine. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
