Gary Schantz 1952-2016 passed away Dec 29, 2016 at the age of 64. He leaves his best friend and beloved wife Jollean, brother Keith Schantz, son David Schantz (Tracy), daughter Patricia Waites (Kevin), 3 grandchildren Nina, Desta and Mikayla. 5 step children and 6 step grandchildren. He's predeceased by his father Cecil Schantz ,mother Ada Helmer and sister Cheryl Funk (Ralph).
Born in Wetaskiwin, AB on Nov 3, 1952, he grew up in Ponoka, AB. He met his first wife Barbara Taggart and moved to Calgary to start their family. Gary worked at CIBC and then spent a large part of his career as a vehicle salesman for Shaw GMC. He spent his later years with Jollean, driving truck until he retired.
