Glen William George Goodridge passed away peacefully July 9, 2020 after a short illness. In his final years, Glen was a resident at the Northcott Care Centre in Ponoka AB. Glen was born and attended school in Eriksdale Manitoba. After school he joined the RCN (5 years) and then the RCAF (10 years). Glen was very proud of his service time. After serving in the Forces, Glen worked in Agriculture and Farming in BC and Alberta and drove truck, as well as being an independent business owner until retiring to Ponoka AB.
Glen is survived by his wife Joyce Goodridge, a resident at Northcott as well. Glen has 4 sons, Terry, Bill (Kristin), Howard (Sally) and Randy, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, dispersed between the western provinces. He also leave behind a sister, Faith Wruck (Chilliwack, BC). Glen was predeceased by Edith Goodridge, wife (Ena Watson)) and wife (Doreen Naswell).
He was very independent and often remarked on how many places he had lived in his life, Manitoba, Ontario, BC, and finally settling in Alberta. When Glen was able, he loved to drive and enjoyed chatting and quipping with all that he met. Glen was an avid supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion. We will miss his humor and attention to details.
