John Gordon Stewart was born on June 11, 1946 in Lacombe, Alberta and passed away on June 14, 2011 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 65 years. Gordon is survived by his wife Doreen; son Cory and his wife Mandy and their children Aidan, Liam, Eamon and Kiera; daughter Jody (Stewart) Regner and her husband Rob and their children Jonah and Sophia; brothers Earl (Kathleen) Stewart and family and Ken (Lynn) Stewart and family; sister Lucille (Stewart) Loov and family; brothers-in-law Darol Newton, Lennie Newton, Barry (Judy) Newton and Lorne (Shelley) Newton. He was predeceased by his parents Sam and Mary Stewart; brothers-in-law Wayne Newton and Verner Loov. A Service to Celebrate Gordon’s will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ponoka, Alberta on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will place in the Dakota Cemetery.
