Helen Vogel
On December 31, 2009 Mrs. Helena Amy Vogel of Ponoka passed away at the age of 94 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Greg (Mary) Vogel of Calgary; daughter-in-law Pat Bohning of Calahoo; grandchildren Coleen, Michelle, Danielle, Leanne and Christina; great-grandchildren Bronte, Zoe and Nico; and her sisters Ethel Christensen, Joy Kowalchuk and Audrey Norton. She was predeceased by her husband Oswald in 2003; son Don in 2009; grandson-in-law Dan; and brothers Ed, Tom, Bill and Fred Doyle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Ponoka on Friday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. with the Interment Service following at Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
