We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Hilda Woitt at the Good Shepherd Home in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Hilda was born on November 25, 1935 in Falun, Alberta.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Donald, Shirley Paul, Brian (Pat), and Dale; grandchildren Dakota (Anouska) Paul, Jordan Paul, Amber (Matt) Woitt, and Tyler Woitt; great-grandchildren Kaine and Nixon; sister Erma; brothers Emil, Alfred (Doreen), and Wally (Leora); brother-in-law Walter Pohl; also countless nephews, nieces, and friends. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Clifford; parents August and Katherina Rausch; parents-in-law Karl and Martha Woitt; brothers Otto and his wife Frieda, Frietz, and Lawrence; sisters Frieda Pohl, Christine Gromwell, Ella and her husband Ken, and Martha Ackerman; and brothers-in-law Jack Gartner and Stan Woitt and his wife Lorraine.
A Funeral Service was held at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 with the Interment Service following at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
