Sincere Thanks
A special thanks to one and all; to all the staff at the Golden Leisure Lodge for their daily care of Auntie Ida for the past 10 years; to Dr. Halse of Ponoka and all the nursing staff at the Ponoka General Hospital; and all those who went above and beyond to make her life more manageable.
Don’t Say Goodbye
Don’t say goodbye for we will meet again
Once more to share a memory or then
Perhaps to hold each others hand
And feel the warmth of being a friend
Don’t say goodbye for that would be untrue
Each day will bring a memory of you
And with the memory will come a smile
And we can talk again just for a while
Don’t say goodbye for I need only close my eyes
To see your face and feel our love that ties
So only say “until we meet again”
And know we are together till the end
Auf Wiedersehen – Ida
I love you all
