Irma Lentz was born in Poland and grew up in the Pipestone area. She worked at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Alberta Hospital Ponoka for many years.
Irma is survived by her daughter Barbara (Paul) Scott and grandson Emersen (Candace) Scott; her daughter Lorna (Mark) Shannon and grandchildren Larissa Shannon and Jalen Shannon. Irma was predeceased by her husband Bernard Lentz on October 8, 2023.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Irma's life will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023. The service will be livestream broadcast - the video link can be found at womboldfuneralhomes.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society or the Ponoka FCSS Cancer Fund.
