BRAAKSMA, JANE ( nee Postmus)
Jane went peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 5, 2009. She was born on August 10, 1922 in the Netherlands and was a nurse and
midwife until immigrating to Canada. She married John in 1953 in Lacombewhere they farmed until moving west of Ponoka. They continued to live inthat area after retirement until 1994 when they moved to the town of Ponoka.
Jane was predeceased by John in 1997. Mourning her passing are Jane'schildren: Son Sid ( Dorothy), Ryan ( Danielle) Tanya and Craig. Daughter Grace (Dallas) Christina, Matthew, Monica and Julia. Son Erick (Pat), Mandi
( Colton) and great granddaughter Bailey, Jenni, Erica,Kenton and Kyle. Aswell as her sister Saapke Kingma and brother Willem Postmus in the Netherlands, and many friends. A service will be held at Parkland Reformed
Church ( south of Ponoka on Spruce Rd. off Hwy 2A) on Saturday April 11,2009 at 2 PM with Rev. Mitch Ramkissoon officiating. In lieu of flowers
memorial donations may be made to Rehoboth.
